I present a slideshow of "Prince of StableⅠⅡⅢ" with video and narration.
In the previous work, "Lamb of Sin Offering", I elucidated the role that the real, historical Jesus played in the formation of Christian faith, but this time, I will use that Jesus as a "type" and explain how the New Testament planned Prince of Stable's birth and achievements in Japan.
In the eighth year (197 C.E.) of Emperor Chuai (仲哀天皇), King Koman (功満) of the Christian nation of Yuzuki (弓月) came to Japan with his servants. Thereafter, the son of King Koman led 18,670 people and came to the country during the reign of the 15th Emperor Ojin (応神天皇). This is thought to be the origin of a Christian called Hata came to Japan in large sums.
After that, Ishikawa Maro (石川麿), the grandson of Takeuchino Sukune, was given his surname Soga (蘇我) during the days of Emperor Yuryaku (雄略天皇) and was called Sogano Ishikawano Shukune (蘇我石川宿禰). According to Hidemichi Tanaka, professor emeritus at Tohoku University, "Soga" means "I am resurrected," and Ishikawano is believed to have converted to Keikyo, which believed in the resurrection of Jesus.
It should be noted here that Soga clan's "resurrection faith," that is, "I am risen,'' differs from that of Peter, Paul, or Jesus' younger brother James, and is the resurrection faith based on the Gospel of Thomas, which preaches the believer's own spiritual rebirth. In short, it can be seen as something similar to Zen-style "Spiritual rebirth(再活現成)". In other words, the Soga clan and Prince Shotoku learned of Zen philosophies such as "To do great death first and to return back to life" and "Spiritual rebirth" that were popular in China during the Tang dynasty under the influence of Nestorianism, and the Soga clan and Prince Shotoku seem that they took it directly from the Gospel of Thomas before birth of Sui dynasty.
