"An Epic Tale of the People of the Covenant" slide show Episode 9:Those who know themselves rule the World.
Jesus said, "Let one who has become wealthy reign, and let one who has power renounce ." (Gospel of Thomas, verse 81)
Russian invasion of Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin made a television speech on February 24, 2022, saying, "We will carry out a special military operation in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine." Russian troops immediately invaded Ukraine from three directions: Belarus in the north and Crimea in the south in addition to Donbas in the east. A few minutes later, explosions were reported in the capital Kyiv, Odessa, and Donbas. After the invasion of the Russian army, many refugees fled to neighboring countries, and as of March 15, 2022, the number exceeded 3 million. (Wikipedia)
History of Ukraine: The Birth of the Principality of Lucy
According to former Ambassador to Ukraine (2014-2019), Shigeki Sumi (角茂樹), Ukraine is a vast plain except for the Carpathian Mountains in the southwest, but Kyiv, which is located on a hill suitable for a castle, there has been built a town since the 9th century. By supplying the Byzantine Empire with products such as fur and fish from the north through the Dnieper River, this town developed from north to south, centering on Kiev, and the Principality of Kyiv Lucy, which was the origin of both Russia and Ukraine, was born.
Convert to Christianity
After Prince Borodimir being baptized and converted to Christianity in 988, many churches were founded in the 11th century, including St. Sophia's Cathedral and Pechersk Lavra, making Kyiv an important sanctuary for both Russia and Ukraine.
The Christian church split into east and west in the 11th century. But when Grand Duke Borodimir converted to Christianity, the Christian church had not been officially divided into east and west, however he was baptized by a priest under the Byzantine emperors.
Different views of history
At the end of the 12th century, the Mongols invaded and the Principality of Lucy was destroyed. At this time, a completely different view of history between Russia and Ukraine arose.
According to President Putin, the Russians have been taught in textbooks that the people of the Principality of Lucy, who fled north and arrived in Moscow, built the Grand Duchy of Moscow and named it Russia, which is the pronunciation of Lucy in Latin.
Ukrainians today do not think so. Most Ukrainians remained in Ukraine, even though some fled to the north, and later became the famous armed peasant Cossack.
Divided rule and religious differentiation
Until the 16th century, only part of the eastern part of Ukraine was under the umbrella of the Grand Duchy of Moscow, and most of Ukraine, that is, three-quarters of present Ukraine, was under the umbrella of Lithuania and Catholic Poland.
After Peter the Great (reigned 1672-1725), Russia expanded its power in Ukraine. As a result, President Putin recognizes that Ukraine has become a brother of Russia, but the Ukrainian side recognizes that it has been merged into the Russian Empire. Cossacks under the umbrellas of Poland and Lithuania often rebelled and in the 17th century, sought help from Emperor Peter the Great becase of which was the same Greek Orthodox Christianity, but some say it was a mistake.
Poland was divided in the 18th century, and Russia took over most of Ukraine, but the southwestern region was under the control of Austria-Hungary.
Origin of Cossacks
Duke Mieszko I, the fifth Chief of the Polish Piast Dynasty (c. 960-1370), converted to Roman Catholicism in 966. Thus, the Principality of Poland was recognized by the Western Christian society 22 years ahead of the "Principality of Kyiv Lucy". Boleslaw I, the son of Mieszko I, annexed the Principality of Kyiv Lucy in 1018. (Wikipedia).
After the Mongolian army led by Batu captured the Duchy of Cracow and the Duchy of Silesia in southern Poland, armed groups of inhabitants each of who had a pigtail hair and was good at horse-riding tactics and looked the same as the Mongols were organized around Kyiv. They were prototypes of the Cossacks. Cossacks, which means "ones who have left the flock" or "free warriors", had mastered Tatar (Mongolian) horse riding and military skills, but their racial composition varied from region to region.
They served as mercenaries (registered Cossacks) of the Polish king in the latter half of the 16th century, then transformed into a Ukrainian ethnic group that adhered to Orthodox Christianity in the latter half of the 17th century, and the Cossack Corps during the Russian imperial era made remarkable achievements in the Russo-Japanese War.
Jewish immigrants
Poland encouraged the settlement of Germans and Jews in order to revive the almost uninhabited areas looted by Mongolia. Around this time, anti-Semitism was rampant in Europe, so especially Jewish immigration increased. These settlers were preferred to be used as aides by Polish aristocrats and it was also the beginning of the German Ostsiedlung.
When the Polish Queen Jadwiga and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Yogaira married in 1385 and formed the Polish-Lithuanian Union, the southern frontier region became known as Ukraine. The word Ukraine originally meant a remote area.
Polish aristocrats signed a kind of trust development contracts called 'apeHua (leasing)' or 'apeHIIHoe conepkaume (leasing management)' with Jews and promoted agricultural development in remote areas. Under the system, Jewish financial capital undertook tax collection from farmers on behalf of Polish aristocrats. For this reason, pogroms (mass persecution and murder of Jews) occurred frequently during the time the independence movement from Poland. It is said that there were around 350,000 Jews in Poland in the 17th century.
Afterwards, the Russian Empire designated Lithuania, Belarus, Poland and Ukraine as Jewish compulsory settlements between 1791 and 1917. It is said that many ultra-Orthodox Jews (Haredimes) migrated to the compulsory settlement.
Holodomor
After the collapse of imperial Russia after World War I, Ukraine launched an independence movement, but was overthrown by the Soviet Communist Party government, and two-thirds of the eastern part of Ukraine became Soviet territory and the remaining one-third became Polish territory. .
A great famine called Holodomor occurred in the late 1920s and 1930s, killing millions to 14.5 million people. Some say that this is an artificial famine caused by Stalin, and say it is a genocide, but the Russian side does not admit and says that it was a famine that had occurred all over Russia and was not had limited to Ukraine.
After the birth of President Viktor Andriyovych Yushchenko (term 2006-2010) in 2006, the grudges of the Ukrainians surfaced.
Stepan Bandera's Independence Struggle
A Ukrainian named Stepan Andriyovych Bandera, who is said to might have been involved in the assassination of the Polish Interior Minister, rebelled against Poland, during the German-Soviet war in World War II and arrested by the Polish government. Nazi Germany initially supported the independence movement, but as soon as he declared independence, Bandera was arrested by the Nazis and taken to Germany. Bandera, released by the Allies, remained in Germany and continued the anti-Soviet movement. However, he was finally killed by the KGB.
Putin's neo-Nazis refer to anti-Soviet and anti-Russian nationalists, not necessarily Hitler's Nazism. Putin calls Stepan Bandera followers neo-Nazis. Stepan Bandera, who has been regarded as a terrorist, became recognized as a leader of the independence movement in the 2000s.
The collapse of the Soviet Union and the independence of Ukraine
Ukraine, which was annexed to the Soviet Union after World War II, declared independence and neutrality in 1991 due to the collapse of the Soviet Union, but initially maintained a limited military tie-up with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), including Russia.
Ukraine relied on Russia for most of its trade, but in 1994 it also partnered with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Orange Revolution
During the term of office of the first president Leonid Kravchuk and the second president Leonid Danilovich Kuchma, the administration of Ukrainian government was generally balanced between Russia and the West.
But, in 2004, pro-Russian Viktor Fadelovich Yanukovych and pro-European Viktor Yushchenko confronted each other in the presidential election, and when Yanukovych won, the Orange Revolution occurred because of the fraud of election and three consecutive votes were held, pro-European Yushchenko finally won and became the third president.
However, due to the aftermath of the Russia-Ukraine-Gas conflict, the pro-European faction was defeated in the election, and the new government fell into instability due to the rise of pro-Russian and local political parties.
Color revolution
According to Mutsuo Mabuchi(馬渕睦夫), a former ambassador to Ukraine and Moldova (In office 2005-2008), the Rose Revolution occurred in Georgia in 2003 after the Iraq War, and in 2005, the pro-Russian government was overthrown due to fraudulent elections in Kirigis. These series of color revolutions in Eastern Europe are said to be part of an offensive by US neoconservatives aimed at Russia, the major oil-producing country that remained after the Iraq War.
He says that about six Jewish Oliganhi (emerging millionaires), including Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who was also president of the oil company Yukos, supported the Eritin administration. President Putin tried to eliminate these political entrepreneurs.
Start of the US-Russia New Cold War
The battle between Neocon and Putin began with the arrest of Mr. Khodorkovsky in 2003. Mr. Boris Abramovich Berezovsky, founder and head of the LogoVAZ Group, was found dead in London after his exile, and media mogul Mr. Guchinsky went into exile in Spain.
Mr. Khodorkovsky announced his candidacy for the 2004 presidential election and created a fund called the Open Russia Foundation, with London-based Mr. Jacob Rothschild as chairman and Mr. Kissinger as US director. The "Open Russia Foundation" is nothing more than opening up Russian resources to foreign capital. From here, a new US-Russia Cold War started.
Rockefeller aimed for the realization of World Government
President Jimmy Carter's National Security Advisor Mr. Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzezinski said, "The Obama administration is the second chance for world unification, and if Obama fails, there is no third chance." Thus, if the Hillary administration had been born after the Obama administration, World War III might have occurred. But with the birth of President Trump, their plans were delayed by four years.
In his memoirs, David Rockefeller states that he has sought to unify the world with his peers.
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) aims to establish a world government, and both Gorbachev and Bush too, aimed to establish a world government.
Putin warns of New World Order moves
According to Mr. Mabuchi, the biographical dictionary says, "The famous American critic Water Lipman was a socialist when he was around President Wilson, but before and after World War II he was a liberalist, and He became a neoconservative, and was an internationalist for the rest of his life." "The common denominator of socialism, liberalists and neocons is internationalism, thus, he was a globalist throughout his life," he points out.
President Putin warned of the New World Order move in 2007 and in that same year he was said to have claimed that he is against the US world domination initiative at the UN Security Council Conference in Munich.
Eurasian Economic Union
According to Mr. Sumi, when pro-Russian Yanukovych won the presidential election in 2010 and became the fourth president, President Putin actively embarked on the realization of the Great Russia Reconstruction Plan and launched the Eurasian Economic Union adding Ukraine to Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, etc.
Maidan Revolution
When President Yanukovych promised to conclude an economic partnership agreement with the EU at the end of 2013, Putin forced Yanukovych to cancel the agreement with the EU on the eve of signing at the expense of cancelling Ukraine's debt to Russia, among other things.
However, the Maidan Revolution broke out, and President Yanukovych went into exile in Russia, and in 2014, the fifth president of Petro Poroshenko took office.
According to Mabuchi, George Soros was behind the Assistant Secretary of State for Russia, Victoria Nuland, who played a central role in the Euromaidan revolution. Ms. Nuland has returned to the top of the US State Department's office under the Biden administration.
Annexation of Crimea and Minsk agreement
According to Mr. Sumi, Russia annexed Crimea and invaded Donbas on this occasion. President Putin thought he would be welcomed by the Donbas people, but more than 10,000 died, hundreds of thousands of refugees were evacuated to the west.
In the 2019 presidential election, actor Volodymyr Zelensky challenged the incumbent President Poroshenko with pledges such as peace with Russia, eradication of corruption, and economic recovery, and won with an overwhelming voter turnout of 73.2% in the decisive battle between pro-European candidates.
President Zelensky had a telephone conversation with President Putin in April of the same year and made every effort to realize a peace agreement. Although President Putin supported Mr. Zelensky, who was inexperienced, from the beginning, instead of Mr. Poloshenko, who was regarded as a diplomatic expert, he forced the implementation of the Minsk agreement signed in 2014/2015 at the meeting between the two leaders.
Independence of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine
Incidentally, President Putin has been saying that the Russian and Ukrainian people are devoted to the same religion, but in 2019 the Ukrainian Orthodox Church became independent from the Moscow Orthodox Church, and President Poroshenko revised the Constitution in the same year. It clearly states that it would join NATO and the EU as the national goal of Ukraine.
Normandy format
According to Mr. Sumi, the Minsk agreement was put together by President Putin, President Poroshenko, German Prime Minister Merkel, and French President Orlando. They talked all night and after exhaustion, Prime Minister Merkel said, "Let's decide with this." So, President Zelensky also tried to put the agreement into practice, but he was not able to go either because of the great opposition in Ukraine.
Although President Putin, President Zelensky, Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Emmanuel Macron of France reunited in Berlin in December 2019 to exchange the Normandy format, President Zelensky seems to have decided at this point that Putin's request for the acceptance of the annexation of Crimea and the implementation of the Minsk Agreement would not be accepted. According to Mr.Sumi, Ukraine's pro-Europeanization accelerated after this.
No China's invasion to Taiwan: Mr. Mabuchi
By the way, Mr. Mabuchi asserted that "China will not invade Taiwan." According to him, in a 1950 Acheson speech, Taiwan was outside the US defense line, and the United States acknowledged Beijing's sovereignty of Taiwan. Not only Taiwan but also South Korea. Chiang Kai-shek (蒋介石) asked for participation in the Korean War as part of the UN forces, but Truman refused. The reason is that the United States created the Mao Zedong administration.
Japan was made to fight Chiang Kai-shek. Chiang Kai-shek would have wanted to make peace with Japan, but the Roosevelt administration, which received the intention of the neoconservatives, instructed them to fight in order to support the Communist Party administration.
After the surrender of Japan, General Marshall was dispatched to China as a special envoy, instructing Chiang Kai-shek to end the Chinese Civil War and the Kuomintang to collaborate with the Communist Party. Then the fate of Chiang Kai-shek was exhausted. But the cunning part of the United States was that it did not completely crush Chiang Kai-shek and let him escape to Taiwan. Thereafter, in Acheson's speech, the United States admitted that Mao Zedong (毛沢東) was free to treat Taiwan, but Mao Zedong did not play the neoconservative trick lightly. Xi Jinping (習近平) probably won't get into the neoconservative strategy either. For Xi Jinping, there is nothing to be gained by invading Taiwan now. According to Mr. Mabuchi, China can absorb the advanced technology of the West through Taiwan, but there is no reason to close it by themselves.
If you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty
Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.
When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty." (Gospel of Thomas, verse 3)
Jesus said, "Let one who has become wealthy reign, and let one who has power renounce ." (Gospel of Thomas, verse 81)
According to Mr. Sasagu Arai, author of the Japanese version of The Gospel of Thomas, If we replace "the kingdom" of "the kingdom is within you" with "the kingdom of God," it exactly consistents with Chapter 17 Verse 21 of the Gospel of Luke. "The Kingdom of God isn't ushered in with visible signs. You won't be able to say, `Here it is!' or `It's over there!' For the Kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21). "
For Luke, the "kingdom of God" is limited to the "Time of Jesus" and the coming "End time", and is inherent as the "Holy Spirit" in the present "Church time."
On the other hand, for Thomas, that is, for Gnostist, "the kingdom" is now "spreading on the ground (Thomas 13)." So it can be said, "it is outside you."
Moreover, knowing that "the kingdom is inside human beings" is nothing but knowing the "original self" as "children of the father." Therefore, what does not know oneself is "poverty."
And in verse 81, Jesus of the Gospel of Thomas, preaches contrary, knows himself and becomes rich will rule the world, and those who have the power to rule the world will renounce the world."
This is Gnosis, the ultimate wisdom of those who know themselves. Knowing oneself is to rule the universe. Those who rule the universe are not obsessed with Crimea, Taiwan, the Senkaku Islands, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, China, and the United States. In short, it is good to give away to those who are not satisfied.
What is "Baptism with The Holy Spirit"?
According to the dialectic of the Gospel of John,
【Thesis】"A man can possess eternal life through accepting testimony of the Son of man and being baptized by him." (John 5:24)
【Anti-thesis】But "The one who comes from the earth cannot accept the testimony by one from heaven." (John 3:32)
How then can a man possess eternal life?
【Synthesis】"If you want to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, you can just go back to the word which was with God in the beginning (John 1:1) and certify that God is truthful. (John 3:33)"
When he said, "You are Huichao," Zen Master Fayan thrusted vivid Self in Huichao in front of his eyes.
