【Mumbai】Reiterating India's position on border security vis-a-vis ceasefire violations, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on the 5th of September told a gathering of BJP workers that the Border Security Forces have been told to give a bold reply to continuing Pakistani violations of the ceasefire on Kashmir border.
“We all know where terrorist come from,” he said, pointing at Pakistan, and adding “We can change friends but not neighbours. Pakistan has the habit of creating tension on border. So I have told the BSF to give befitting answers to the neighbours if they indulge in ceasefire violations.”
Mr. Singh gave credit Indian diplomacy for prompting the United States and the UAE to warn Pakistan to stop encouraging terror activities on its soil. Mr. Singh also said the Maoist activities in the country had reduced by 30%.
