【Kathmandu】India and Nepal on the 26th July agreed to review and adjust the Treaty of Peace and Friendship of 1950 to reflect the current realties.
Looking at further expanding bilateral ties, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on the 26th July met her Nepalese counterpart Mahendra Bahadur Pandey in Kathmandu and both side agreed to review and update the Treaty of Peace and Friendship 1950, implement the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPPA) and finalise the text of a Power Trade Agreement at the earliest, according to a joint statement issued after a marathon meeting between the two sides.
