【カトマンズ】インドとネパールは7月26日、今日の現状に基づき『1950年平和友好条約』に見直しと調整を加えることで合意した。
　インドのスシュマ・スワラジ外相は、二国間関係の拡張を目指し、この日ネパールのマヘンドラ・バハドゥール・パンディ外相とカトマンズで会見した。マラソン会議後に発表された共同声明によると、双方は、『1950年平和友好条約』に見直しを加え、現状に則した改訂を加えるとともに、『二国間投資促進保護協定(BIPPA:Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement)』を施行し、また『電力取引協定(Power Trade Agreement)』草案を早急に作成することで合意した。
