【New Delhi】Gearing up for the Lok Sabha polls, BJP top brass, including Narendra Modi, on Thursday held a meeting to finetune its strategy on the eve of its National Executive and Council meetings beginning on Friday.
The party will finalise its programmes for reaching out to the electorate through "One Vote, One Note" and "Mission 272+" campaign, besides the "Modi-for-PM Fund" which will be both online and offline.
The party will also give final shape to its door-to-door campaign and for reaching out to villages, besides state-wise strategies ahead of the general elections.
Global rating agency Moody's on Thursday said that India's economic recovery is likely to be slow in the second half of 2014, but the outcome of general elections could have an impact on the growth prospects of the country.
The World Bank has predicted that India's economy will grow at over 6 per cent in financial year 2014-15 and 7.1 percent by financial year 2016-17 as global demand recovers and domestic investment increases. It may be noted that the country's economic growth slipped to a decade's low of 5 per cent in financial year 2012-13.
